Believe me, this shoe, is something else completely.
Vans and Lizzie Armanto come together to bring into this world Lizzie’s first ever pro-model shoe, and for her debut she made what we can really call, something else. The Lizzie is a silhouette designed to fit to everyone’s body, so forget about women’s or men’s shoes, the Lizzie features a universal fit to meet the needs of a wider range of skateboarders. Built with organic materials, from the rubber to the cotton, this sustainable shoe also features all of Vans’ modern technology for today’s performance standards. This of course includes Vans’ Duracap rubber underlay in high abrasion areas for durability, a new impact protection insole made out of 70% biobased PU foam from plant oils which sits on top of a newly design cup sole with flex grooves for flexibility, Waffle lugs for durability and support and a micro-waffle pattern so you can count on the usual Vans grip but upgraded for impact and a broken-in feel right out of the box. Oh, and this of course, is made out of Sickstick, Vans’ 75% biobased rubber compound that will glue your feet to the board while keeping an eye out for our planet. Sounds sweet right?
Maria and Canina each got a pair of these beauties and had a somewhat interesting day out skating, check it out underneath in the video, it must have been something else really.
