Given the skateboarding paradise offered by the steep alleys and banks of Venice and Santa Monica, they saw an opportunity to create a skateboard truck that would enable them to ride the board's curves like surfers on waves. Drawing from the roots of skateboarding, Carver's founders innovated and crafted the first surf skateboard trucks, revolutionising the way skaters could experience the flow and movement akin to riding waves.
